Chunin Exams in Suna 15

Both the sand and leaf team had headed home and got a great night of sleep. Danya woke up covered in sweat, she had dreamt of Orochimaru all night, his words just wouldn’t leave her mind, ‘You’re alone.’ She examined her teams apartment, it was horribly small. It was only one room, more like a hotel than an apartment, but at least they all got their own beds.

Danya saw Bryan and Ryan sound asleep, but they had littered their clothes all over the floor. “Boys are such slobs.” She got out of bed and realized she had slept in her normal clothes, “I must have been more tired than I thought.” She went to the restroom to check her self out when she heard a soft knock on the door. “Who could that be, it’s so early.”

Danya headed to the door and opened it, “Yeah?” When she realized it was Tausha she smiled, “Oh hey, what’s up?”

Tausha was holding two towels, “Come on, let’s go to the hot springs.” Tausha took a hold of Danya’s arm and pulled her out of the apartment.

“Wait! I have to tell Bryan and Ryan where I’m going.”

Tausha laughed, “Don’t worry about it, you’ll be back before they wake up.” Tausha pulled Danya along, “And trust me, you want to get your bath done early…..before Ken wakes up.”

Danya laughed, “Oh yeah, that’s a really good idea.”

The girls walked side by side, “You’ll love our hot springs, they are beautiful and I’ll take you to my favorite spot, it’s always just the right temperature.” Tausha took a hold of Danya’s arm, “Come on, we’re here!” The two ran in and got ready for there morning bath.

Unfortunately Ken was already awake also. He could barley sleep all night because of how excited he had been. All the attention he had gotten from Danya the night before had made him seem even more confident than ever. He was heading to see her at her apartment when he noticed Tausha at her door. ‘What’s this?’

Ken quickly hid and watched Tausha pull Danya from her room and judging by the towels Tausha had been carrying, it was obvious they were heading for the bathing house.

Ken waited a while before he came from his hiding place, he figured he would let the girls get to the hot springs before he took a chance of getting caught. He even considered getting Ryan to come with him, but then he decided to be selfish and just tried to sneak past his room.

Ryan poked his head out the door and watched Ken tip toe away, “Hey! What are you up to?”

Ken stopped in his tracks and slowly looked back, “Hey! You’re awake?”

Ryan laughed, “Obviously! Now answer the question, what are you doing?”

Ken smiled, “I’m not doing anything, why are you up?”

“Me an Bryan heard Tausha and Danya talking, Bryan fell back to sleep but I heard you sneaking around out here.”

Ken looked unhappy, “Dang it, I really wanted to be silent….oh well, see ya.”

“Wait a minute, I know you’re up to something. Let me get dressed and I’ll come too.” Ryan ran in to get dressed.

Ken stood there a little disappointed, “Well hurry up then! I don’t wanna miss anything!”

Ryan ran out pulling his shirt over his head, “I knew it, you’re going’ peeping!”

Ken quickly covered Ryan’s mouth, “Shhhh! Yes, we are going….observing.” He looked around to see if anyone was listening, “I know Tausha’s favorite spot, so we’ll get a good look of her and Danya….bare and beautiful.” Ken was almost drooling.

Ryan smiled behind the top of his shirt, “This is gunna be so worth waking up early!”

Ken was getting impatient that he literally started to pull Ryan out of the doors of the apartment building.  “Jeez you take too long!”

Tausha entered the hot spring with her towel wrapped around her.  She sighed happily as she entered the warming waters.  She looked towards Danya who was sitting on a rock while dipping her toes in the water.  Tausha lifted an eye brow up and started to move/swim over to her.  When she was close to Danya, she started to wave her hand in front of her.  

“Danya are you awake?”  Tausha stared into her eyes and saw that her eyes were a little foggy.  “Danya?”  She shook her arm.

Danya then blinked twice and looked at Tausha and she smiled.  “Oh, sorry Tausha did you say something?”

“Danya what is wrong?”  It then hit her.  “Oh for get about that!”

Danya looked shocked.  “You know?”

“Yeah, I mean, Neji is an ass you know.”  Danya looked to the water.

When Tausha noticed she got more concerned.  “Its not about Neji?”

Danya shook her head.  

Tausha got close and put her hand on Danya’s shoulder.  “What’s wrong?”

Danya drew her knees to her chest.  “I want to know…I want to know what happened to my family.”

Tausha looked at her.  “Makoto…”

“I don’t believe him!”  Danya almost shouted.  “I…he…”

“He?”  Tausha’s eyes widen.  “Danya!  Don’t you dare think of going to that man!”

Danya looked at Tausha, and Tausha almost went back.  “Your not are?”

Danya shook her head and she laid her head on her knees.  “I don’t know.”  Then HIS voice came to her head.

‘If you come with him, I will tell you everything, and you will never be alone again.’

Danya started to shake.  Tausha then punched Danya on the arm.

“Ouch!”  Danya rubbed her now sore arm.  “What…?”

Tausha’s head was cast down.  “Don’t go to him.”  Tausha looked up with her eyes watered.  “I don’t want to loose another friend…”  Danya then realized Tausha was talking about her older sister.

“I don’t want to loose anyone else, I don’t.”  Tausha kept repeated that phrase.

Danya smiled and hugged her.  “I won’t…I am sorry.”  Then Danya smirked and dunk Tausha under the water!

Tausha came back up and gasped for air.  “YOU CHEAT!”  Tausha tackled Danya, and soon the two where having a water fight, their towels way gone.  

~!~In the Bushes~!~

Both Ken and Ryan where drooling waterfalls, when both girls started a water fight, which they just got to in time, no idea of the conversation before.

“This is what I call Heaven!”  Whispered Ken.

Ryan only nodded.

Then everyone around the boys started to get cold.  Both Ryan and Ken stood up straight.  Ken turned to Ryan.  “You feel like someone is watching US?”

Ryan then turned to Ken.  “Y-yeah…”

Soon both boys turned around and saw a very pissed off Neji.  His brakeman out, and he was staring into their very soul.  Soon, it disappeared, and he smiled.  

“Hmm…”  Both Ken and Ryan started to relax, but soon, they found them selves falling…backwards.  Soon the boys started to roll down the hill and they landed right where the girls where.  

Neji smirked and walked away when he heard the scream of agony from the two genin.  “Here I was taking a stroll and found these two pippin’ toms.”  He sighed.  “Better go before I am caught.”

After a massive amount of beating, Tausha and Danya threw Ryan and Ken out of the bath house.

“You two are the worst!” Tausha yelled.

“If you guys do this again, we’re gunna hurt you so bad you won’t be able to walk!” Danya slammed the door on Ryan’s ass.

Ryan and Ken began to limp away with looks of total bliss. Ken couldn’t even open his right eye, the bruise was too swelled. He laughed at Ryan, “You got a nose bleed dude.”

Ryan laughed back at Ken, “So do you!”

Ken weakly nudged Ryan in the side, “Hey wanna peek again, there’s more girls in the other springs.”

Ryan giggled, “Yeah….ok, sounds fun.”

Ken almost hugged Ryan, “Yes! It’s nice to finally have someone to share my hobbies with.”

Ryan laughed, “You’re hobby is every guys hobby, they’re just not all as brave as us.”

Danya and Tausha finished their baths and began to exit the bath house. They were giggling as the left, Tausha noticed one of her favorite ramen shops was open, “Hey Danya, want some breakfast?” Tausha grabbed Danya’s wrist and pulled her toward the small diner, “Come on, it’s on me. This place serves the best ramen in the village.”

Danya hesitantly giggled, “Alright….sure…”

As the two got behind the tiny shops curtain, Tausha immediately noticed a familiar face sitting at the corner of the bar, she nudged Danya.

Danya flinched and looked at Tausha confused, “What?”

Tausha smiled evilly, “I triple, double dog dare you, to sit next to the guy at the end of the table and tell him that he has the most beautiful eyes you’ve ever seen.”

Danya tried to turn around to see who this guy was but Tausha stopped her, “If you are anywhere near as awesome as me, you never ever turn down a dare.” She smiled, “Do you accept my challenge?”

Danya looked at Tausha a little worried, “I dunno…I if I do this, then you’re gunna have to do something too, anywhere, anytime, whatever I decide to dare you to do, you’ll have to do it.” She looked at Tausha seriously.

Tausha smiled and nodded, “I never turn down a dare…it’s my ninja way!” She laughed.

Danya hesitated then nodded her head, “Fine, I’ll do it. I’m not afraid of a silly dare.” She began to turn around, “As long as it’s not …..” Her eyes widened when she saw Neji sitting at the end of the long table, she immediately turned back to Tausha and shook her head. “No way, I can’t say that to him.”

Tausha looked at the ground disappointed, “Well if you can’t complete this dare….then?”

Danya glared at Tausha, “No! I’m not backing down, watch this.” Danya angrily turned from Tausha and walked towards Neji. ‘I can’t believe I’m actually gunna do this.’ She sat next to Neji and stared at him.

Neji slowly looked up from his bowl of ramen and noticed Danya, “Morning?” He looked at her puzzled, “Is there something wrong? Something on my face?” He was pointing at his face.

Danya’s face turned red and she felt her heart begin to race from anxiety, She looked directly into Neji’s eyes, “You…” She took a breath and tried to calm herself.

Neji looked at her a little annoyed, “Spit it out.”

Danya’s embarrassment turned to anger, her blush disappeared and her shoulders dropped as she frowned at Neji. “What I was going to say, was you have the most beautiful eyes I’ve ever seen.” Danya stood up and glared at him, “I hope you feel like an ass!” She turned from Neji and grinned while walking away.

Tausha smiled, “Nice, you passed with a 100 percent.” Tausha held two bowls of ramen in to-go packages, “I’m guessing you don’t want to eat here, so why don’t we go to my place?”

Danya nodded, “Sounds good.”

Tausha walked out with Danya, “Sorry that didn’t go so well, I really expected it to end up nicer…..”

Danya shook her head, “It’s not your fault, Neji is just….Neji.” She looked down at the ground as she walked.

Tausha smiled, “Well he may be a jerk, but after you said the thing about his eyes and him feeling like an ass, he was completely stunned.” Tausha giggled, “He also totally blushed!”

Danya finally smiled, “Yeah right…”

“He did, I totally saw pink covering his cheeks!” Tausha pulled Danya by the arm once again, “Come on, my house is only a few blocks away, you can even meet my little brother!”

Danya giggled, “Alright, and just so you know…when I think of a dare for you, it‘s gunna be cruel!”

Tausha looked at Danya’s face, and it had a true evilness about it.

Danya’s mind began to real for her plan.  She started to walk ahead of Tausha still in thought.  Tausha followed behind.  Then Tausha stopped in her tracks when Danya stopped.  “She must have found something.“  Tausha thought to her self.  When Danya turned around Tausha wanted to scream, the look on Danya’s face was almost too much for Tausha.

“What is it?”

Danya walked up to Tausha and drap her arm over Tausha’s shoulder.  “Alright angel fish, what you have to do is.”  Danya then started to whisper in her ear.

Tausha’s eyes widen.  Tausha stepped back.  “Oh no, no, no, no!”

Danya’s eyebrow arched.  “Whoa, are you chickening out?”  Danya then started to taunt her.  “Man, this is such a simple task.”

Tausha said sternly.  “then why don’t you do it?”

Danya giggled.  “I have remembered.”  Tausha then remembered to their first hot spring bath.  Tausha hung her head.

“Alright.”

Tausha looked up when Danya pointed.  This time Tausha screamed.  In front of her was none other than Gaara.  Tausha wanted to hide under a rock.  But Danya’s words didn’t help…

“KAZEKAGE!”  Danya started to wave her arms and finally got his attention, when Gaara saw Tausha he started to walk over to them.

Danya turned to Tausha.  “Alright, here he comes.”

Tausha’s mind started to real, it went back to Danya’s dare.

‘I want you to look down on the ground and when you left your head up and the first guy you see, no matter who it is, you have to flash them for 5 seconds!’

Danya stared Tausha down.  “Come on, if you don’t do it in three seconds you loose.”  Danya then held up her hand.

One finger went up.

Tausha started to think this over.  ‘What would Gaara do?’

Two finger.

Tausha then shook her anxiety away closed to her eyes and flashed Gaara.

Tausha lift up her shirt and looked at Gaara…who was now on the ground.

Danya started to laugh, she had a hard time to breath and she had tears running down her face.  “OH MY GOD!!”

Tausha was about to cry, he didn’t like the way she looked, she was about to sprint, if it wasn’t for Danya holding her arm.

“Tausha…oh…my…”  Danya kept laughing hard, she started to cough.  “You should have….seeeen…”  Danya had a very hard time getting the words out.  “The blood…went…HAHA…”  Danya’s chest started to hurt.  “HIS NOSE!!”  Danya finally pointed towards Gaara.  And Tausha looked over and sure enough there was a line of blood running down Gaara’s nose.

Danya finally collapsed on the ground beating the ground with her hands.

Tausha’s cheeks turned beat red. What was she going to do, she couldn’t tell Gaara it had been a dare, that was like the unspoken rule of all dares. You’re not allowed to say ‘I only did it cause I was dared to.’ She buried her face in her hands and hearing Danya’s laughter only made her more embarrassed.

Tausha soon felt a presence in front of her, she shook her head cause she knew who it was. She was just too embarrassed to look up at him.

Gaara wiped the blood from his nose and let out a light laugh, he placed both his hands on Tausha’s shoulders and smiled, “I didn’t expect to see that Tausha. You really made my day.”

Tausha pulled her face out of her hands and looked up at Gaara, she was surprised to see he was right in her face. Her blush seemed to get even darker. “I…..I…I’m glad I made your day….”

Danya got up off the ground and tried to stop laughing but she couldn’t help but let out a few more giggles. She slyly moved behind Tausha and looked up at the sky as if she was completely innocent. Like lightning Danya’s hand shot up and pushed Tausha right between her shoulder blades. “Ooops!”

Tausha flew forward and felt her lips connect with Gaara’s, her eyes widened in shock and she watched as his eyes closed and he kissed her back. Tausha’s eyes were still open wide as he pulled away and looked at her while smiling.

Tausha blinked then a huge grin grew across her face. She reached back and searched for Danya’s arm, when she found it she took a tight hold of it and pulled Danya to her side. She turned her attention from Gaara to Danya, “Thanks….Danya…” The words came from the corner of her mouth.

Danya gulped as she smiled, “Your welcome?”

Gaara smiled, “I’m glad I found you, your invitations were being sent out today and I wanted to hand deliver yours myself.” Gaara handed Tausha a small envelope.

“Invitations?” Tausha looked the envelope over.

“All the teams that passed the second part of the exams will get one, there’s going to be a meeting for all of you tomorrow morning in front of the fountain.” Gaara slowly turned to walk away, “I’ll be giving the teams directions about the next part of the exams, maybe afterwards, I could take you out for breakfast.” A whirl wind of sand appeared and Gaara vanished.

Tausha stood in a daze until Danya nudged her. “Hey miss Kazekage’s favorite! Where’s my invite?”

Tausha smiled and hugged Danya tightly, “Probably at your apartment with Bryan.” She took a hold of Danya’s wrist and pulled her along, “Come on, my house is just around the corner and I am starving again!”

Danya laughed, “So am I!”

As Danya and Tausha turned a corner, Neji peeked out from behind a building, he could still hear the sand girl speaking to Danya, “That was the most embarrassing thing ever!” Then he heard Danya, “After what you made me do? Ha! That was the perfect payback!”

Neji was going to follow Danya but decided not to when the wind began to pick up, sand was flying everywhere and it was getting hard to see, he figured he would just head back to lady Tsunade and see what was going on.

Tausha entered her home first then dragged Danya in. Tausha saw her little brother Riley and ran up to give him a hug, “Hey little bro!” She hugged him tight and kissed his cheek.

Riley saw Tausha had a friend over and got a little embarrassed, “Tausha…stop it…”

Danya was a bit surprised when she saw Riley, he didn’t really look like Tausha and Katsumi, instead he had blonde hair and his eyes were a little different. “This is your brother?”

Tausha grinned ,“Yeah! Danya meet Riley. Riley this is my friend Danya.”

Riley smiled and bowed to Danya, “Nice to meet you.” He turned to Tausha, “Sorry but I have to leave, I have to go and train, I’ll be back before nightfall.” Riley rushed out the door before Tausha could question him.

Tausha and Danya watched the door shut behind him, “He seems sweet.” Danya smiled.

“Yeah, for the most part. You wouldn’t believe how much he takes care of me.” Tausha showed Danya to the table and they sat down to eat there ramen. “Thanks for helping me kiss Gaara today.” She half blushed.

Danya giggled, “Hey! Thanks for helping me completely burn Neji. Did you see the look on his face when I pretty much called him an ass!”

The two laughed and gossiped about everything until Danya decided it was time to go, “I better make sure my invitation came.” She headed for the door.

“You sure you can find your way back to the apartments?”

Danya nodded, “Yeah, I’ll be fine. I’ll see you tomorrow morning at the meeting.” She waved and walked out the door. As she headed home the wind calmed down, the streets seemed bare and she began to feel lonely again. “Why do I always feel this way now?”

Danya walked a couple blocks when she began to hear footsteps behind her. Her eyes quickly shifted and she looked behind her. “No one’s there?” She looked confused then turned back to continue her walk but stopped when a she saw a man before her.

The man had dark hair with even darker stripes in it. He gently smiled at Danya and spoke, “What is a lovely girl like you doing out here all alone?”

Danya could feel a horrible aura from this man, she could immediately tell he was pretending to be nice. She glared at him and coldly said, “I’m going home.” She pushed past him and continued on.

“It’s very impolite to walk away from your father like that.” The man smiled evilly.

Danya stopped in her tracks, shocked and surprise. Her heart fell into her stomach and her hands began to tremble, she didn’t know weather to be extremely angry or sad at this mans comment. She spoke with her back turned to the man, “What did you say?”
